As the theme from Enterprise says"It's been a long road getting from there to here". In 2016 things were looking kind of bleak for our little Sci-Fi store which was on the brink of closing because the owner was ready to retire. But through a twist of fate, someone saw our posts about closing the store and the word got out and brought us to the attention of the International Federation of Trekkers, now known as The Federation, and the rest is history.
A year and a half later we couldn't be happier! In the past month alone we've been lucky enough to acquire a lot of great merchandise, ranging from New to Vintage and everything in between. In the fall of 2016 we did a major remodel of the store which gives it a brighter and fresher atmosphere. New volunteers came on board with some newer and creative approaches to doing things. All in all, working together we've been very successful at bringing this little brick and mortar specialty shop back to life.
And to all those who thought that we did close our doors......"Surprise"! We're back and better than ever, ready to take on the next 25 years!
